Gilda’s Club will host a free workshop from 3-4:30 p.m. Saturday, April 6, at St Anthony’s Catholic Church, 417 N. Main St., Davenport.
Nora Bosslet, a registered and licensed social worker, will share information about nutrition and its relationship to cancer. Bosslet will talk about what healthy lifestyle changes lower your risk for cancer and re-occurrence, with a focus on the use of Latino foods.
This presentation will be facilitated in Spanish. Bosslet will be joined by Teresa Pangan, a registered and licensed dietitian, and Steven Menegus, an oncology clinical dietitian.
This program is being offered in-person and in Spanish.
